We really enjoyed working with David Chou at Cabinet City Kitchen & Bath in both the San Gabriel and Rowland Heights location. From the beginning, David was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted, walked us through different options, and helped us put together a cabinet layout that we’re really happy with. We especially appreciated his patience with all of our questions and changes along the way. He never made us feel rushed and was always accommodating. We also felt they offered good-quality cabinet materials at very competitive prices. Thank you, David, for making the whole process so much easier!Posted on Google![]()

Our 1920s house had cabinets from the 70s, and formica countertops from the 90s. I was loathe to replace the fully wooden cabinet doors, but they had so many layers of landlord paint and the boxes were in poor quality, and so it did not make sense to rehab them. Over a period of weeks we learned a lot about cabinets and the range of quality available, and also, just how EXPENSIVE they are. Even high-end cabinet doors these days are made with MDF, it is the covering that changes. Cabinet City had the wood veneer we were looking for at the fairest price. When we showed up on a Saturday at the tail end of visiting other show-rooms across the county, we were only intending to see how they looked in person. But we were given a time to sit down with Sherry. I had not brought the measurements, but knew them close to heart, and she quickly drew up a rough sketch in her design program. I did not realized this step was so important. She caught design errors that would have been so disappointing, like heights of counters, how to consider what tops go over which bottoms, etc. This step is invaluable if you are not working with a designer. Otherwise you risk spending so much money only to not love your install and realize your mistakes too late. Thank you, Sherry! We made some changes to the design before putting down our deposit, which I recommend returning to do in person rather than trying to do via email. We ended up using their workers for the demo and install. By the time you completely empty your kitchen for the demo, depending on how hand you are and how much time you have, you may want to consider doing the demo yourself, though their workers did it in much less time than we could have and take care of hauling away the old cabinets. I am very glad we went with their person for install—they were able to communicate directly with Cabinet City, and among all the other things we were organizing for the kitchen renovation, it was nice not to have to be able to communicate every detail exactly to the install team. The install was efficient, professional, and well-done. The plumbers loved having proper designs to work from when relocating the sink. One last thing I would say is that their showroom is set up to appeal to a certain size house with a certain budget. Do not be afraid to find your own house’s personality within what they offer. We have a bungalow from the 1920s, so went with sizes, counters, and finishes that fit a more humble beauty. I am very glad we paid for higher quality cabinets with plywood boxes, dovetails drawers, and proper wood veneer. It pleases me to think that this kitchen can be enjoyed by us and unknown future occupants for a long time, and that we have not done a face lift that would need to be thrown away in a decade or less. Attached are some before and afters.Posted on Google![]()

Yesterday dropped here after work to check out some cabinet styles for a small kitchen project I've been planning. They have massive selection and the showroom really well laid out. The staff was busy but helpful when i finally caught someone. Parking was a bit tight on the street, but overall a solid experience for browsing materials. Probably coming back once I finalize my layout.Posted on Google![]()

The Countertops Contractors Ranking team is proud to recognize Cabinet City Kitchen and Bath as one of the leading companies in the United States in the 2024–2025 national ranking of stone countertop fabricators and installers. According to our evaluation, the company holds solid positions within the California market and earned the #1 position in Long Beach, highlighting its strong local presence. During our mystery-shopper research, Cabinet City Kitchen and Bath demonstrated professional consultations and responsive customer service. While the quote turnaround time was somewhat slower than average, the company specializes in quartz surfaces, offering homeowners a focused selection for modern countertop projects. In terms of pricing, we rate Cabinet City Kitchen and Bath as Low compared to other top-performing companies in the region. The company typically requires full upfront payment, which may differ from common industry practices, and completes fabrication in about 21 days, a timeline we consider standard for the market. Overall, in the opinion of the Countertops Contractors Ranking team, Cabinet City Kitchen and Bath is a dependable choice for homeowners seeking quartz countertop fabrication and installation services in California and beyond. Typical Home Depot experience. They have everything I needed for my current project and the prices are fair. The only reason for 4 star instead of 5 star is thats always hard to find an associate to help in the lumber aisle, but once you find someone they are usually helpful. Clean store and fast checkout.Posted on Google![]()

My family had the pleasure of working with Eugene to design our cabinets and we also paid extra to have them assembled and installed. ALL facets of our experience with Cabinet City were flawless. Would totally recommend Eugene and Cabinet City to any friend or family member. Pro tip, installation is not cheap but installation includes ASSEMBLY and it took the installation crew 8 hours to achieve my perfect installation. Pay for installation.Posted on Google![]()

I ordered my kitchen cabinets and all bathroom vanities for my house in 2020. All I can say is the quality of their innocraft brand is outstanding. Easy to clean and have held up very well with no issues. Alvin helped me make my purchase and is always there to help. Thank you Cabinet City!
