STEP BY STEP

01 MEASURE

Getting measurements is the first step to getting that awesome kitchen you have always wanted.  First bring in your own rough measurements of your kitchen.  This will get the ball rolling and allow us to move on to other steps.  If it helps, you can come to our showroom to pick up a free “how to” guide to measuring a room.  Each free guide comes complete with examples and a blank grid on which to draw out your project.  Even though it is possible for us to design your kitchen based off your measurements, if we are going to be installing your cabinets, it is important that we send an expert to your home that will make a detailed accurate diagram before we give you the final quote.  There are numerous little details that our professional will look for when taking measurements in your home so even when customers provide us with clear and accurate measurements, both the design and installation steps can take longer to complete if we are unable to send out a professional.  In essence, finding the time to have us measure your kitchen will actually streamline the rest of the process.  We will have one of our Measurement experts call you to set up a time that works best for you.  The cost for our on-site measurement expert is usually around  $50.00 depends on the distance, but that money is later credited to your final bill; effectively making our measurement service free.

02 CHOOSE Your Favorite Style

Choosing the look and style of your cabinet are obviously one of the most important steps.  This is when you will be deciding on the very cabinets that will become a part of your home.  The cabinet you choose will be in your kitchen for you to see, feel, and use for years to come.    We have painted cabinets and we have natural wood grain cabinets.  We have shaker style cabinets and we have more traditional cabinets as well.  We have 5 piece doors and single panel solid doors.  And these are just some of the options available in our traditional cabinets.  Our European style cabinets have flat panel doors.  The European style cabinets offer you the additional option of our High Gloss colors as well as the option to have horizontal doors that swing up rather than side to side.

All of these options will impact the look and the feel and in-some-cases the functionality, of your kitchen.  You can see all of our available cabinet choices here on our website but if at all possible, you should come see them in person in our showroom.

03 DESIGN With Our Design Experts

In many ways designing your kitchen is the most important step in your kitchen renovation.   If you were planning on buying premade cabinets from a hardware store then you will probably run into some spacing issues where you will wish that the available cabinets came in different sizes.  Here at cabinet City, we have cabinets in all sizes from 9 inches wide to 36 inches wide.  Our designer will work one on one with you to design the placement and layout of your future cabinets.  There are so many details that our designers will walk you through.  Large details like which cabinets work for your kitchen and which counter top to choose.  And the small details like choosing the handles, knobs, or pulls that suit you needs.  Once a designer has finished your kitchen layout they will send you 3D renderings of the kitchen as well as an elevated view of the virtual kitchen.  After our on-site measurement expert has measured your kitchen, the designer will make any necessary changes and suggestions.  Finally, after all is said and done, our designers will provide you with a comprehensive price estimate for your kitchen renovation.

04 INSTALL

Once all the planning and designing of your new kitchen is done we can move on to the installation.  We will send out a team of professional cabinet installers.  They will arrive with all the necessary equipment and install all the cabinets for your kitchen.  If you bought sinks and countertops a second crew will arrive later to install them on the finished cabinets.  Our installers are fast and courteous; most jobs take two to three days to install.  They will treat you and your home with respect while they work diligently to create the wonderful kitchen that you and your designer worked so hard to perfect.

05 FINISH

Afterwards, our installers will carefully vacuum the cabinets inside and out. You won’t find odd deposits of dirt and sawdust in the corners of your new cabinets. Our crew will also wipe down all the cabinets and remove all the trash and cardboard that inevitably accumulates during installation. Your home will be clean and your kitchen will be beautiful. You can then inspect your new kitchen and see the quality of the cabinets in your own home.
